This is treason. Nothing less.
Tens of thousands of Californians are out of work. Up to 1,000 farms have been closed. The cost of food is rising, hitting the poor and middle class very hard.
An opportunity to give Californians water (did I mention that the cost of water for people in Los Angeles is going up 17% because of the Federal protection of the delta smelt?).
Democrats Feinstein and Boxer had an opportunity to help Californians, instead they led the battle to cripple our economy and harm our families.
Obviously these two represent a radical ideology, where jobs and families are owned by the State, and the State will decide who lives and dies (both support the rationing of health care through a public option--of course both are VERY rich, so your lack of government health care will never affect them or their families).
All Californians, Democrats and Republicans need to unite to retire this pair of radicals. We need a real voter revolt in 2010 to start the process of ridding California and the nation of radical ideologues who believe only government should make decisions for its citizens.
