Why can't the LA Times use the right language. It is NOT "immigrants" declining in California, it is illegal aliens not coming into the State--or caught at the borders.
The LA Times is very defensive of criminals--of all sorts. ""This is clearly a consequence of the economy, with the biggest impact on Mexican and low-skilled immigrants," said William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution who analyzed the census figures, which are to be officially released today. "It shows that these immigrants respond to the economy."
Even well established think tanks can not use the correct terms,so why should we believe them. Brookings describes illegal aliens, then pretends they are honest people asking for a visa.
The Times has lost its credibility and this story is an example of why.
