Guess the folks in Washington have not heard about the crazy Luddites in California. While Obama is thinking of burning over a billion taxpayer dollars, Luddites have begun the lawsuit process that could take as much as 50 years before being totally resolved.
California Luddites know how to create lawsuits to stop job creation, lower revenues and kill an economy.
In this case, the Luddites are going to do good. Their lawsuits will stop California from losing hundreds of billions of dollars for a choo choo train that will not be used and is a guaranteed money loser.
Guaranteed you ask? Yup, under the law NO government transportation system can charge more than 28% of the cost of operation. That means you, the taxpayer subsidize 72% of the cost of every Amtrak, BART, and other government train systems.
Can you afford that? This is how government steals money to make more poor people.
