  • Democrats in Sacramento STOP SEIU Contract Bill

Wow--the Democrats in the legislature are owned by the SEIU--yet they REFUSED to pass a contract for the SEIU.

And, they are blaming the Governor!!!

"There was some talk that AB 88 was among those two-thirds bills held hostage by Republicans seeking other concessions. But those bills including funds for free tax preparation for the poor, domestic violence shelters and swine flu preparation were held up in the Senate, not the Assembly. After the close of session, SEIU 1000 president Yvonne Walker released a statement saying AB 88 got caught up in the larger dysfunction in the Capitol.

However, the governors spokesman, Aaron McLear, said the SEIU 1000 deal would have to renegotiate their deal because it has been made moot by the budget and the negotiations that came since February.

The contract that the governor signed but the Legislature failed to pass is now moot because the Legislature has since passed a budget that includes a saving from three furlough days, not one, McLear said."

The SEIU are bullies and operate as an adjunct to ACORN. In California former SEIU leaders are claiming the SEIU corrupt--especially those in the fight for the unionization of nurses.

We need an investigation of SEIU, as well as ACORN.
