  • Phony "Green/Arnold" Story in Newspaper

The Mercury News is concerned that Arnold might close down a few parks. To the newspaper, this will cause him to risk losing his "green" credentials.

You should know the translation of "green" in Austrian is "job losses". The paper does admit that. "Since he was elected in 2003, Schwarzenegger has signed America's first law requiring a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. He championed the "Million Solar Roofs Initiative," opposed offshore oil drilling when President George W. Bush advocated for it, and required 33 percent of the state's electricity to come from renewable sources by 2020.

"His environmental record stands on its own," said Jeff Macedo, a Schwarzenegger spokesman. "He had to make choices he didn't want to make."

His legacy is hundreds of thousands of jobs losses, homes foreclosed and junk science running government decisions. We have lost billions in revenues by losing jobs to other States, thanks to AB 32. We have misspent billions of dollars thanks to AB 32. Just yesterday the LA Times reported on a business that will probably move from Los Angeles to Arizona, thanks to AB 32 and the unions that took advantage of it--to kill jobs for their workers.

The Governors legacy will be based on two issues: out of control spending/deficits and out of control Luddites (AB 32).

Looks like his legacy is already set.
