  • Strickland: Jobs and Water Must Be a Priority

Water has been a serious problem for Californians for decades. Almost three decades ago an effort to create a Peripheral Canal was killed, but the need for water is still with us. Over the years tens of billions in water bonds have been passed, and the water crisis has grown.

Now we have Federal judges killing 1/3 of the Central Valley Farms, causing the price of water, commodities and business to go up over 15% in all areas of California. In some places less water costs 25% more.

For decades the legislature has played politics with water, and used bonds as payoffs to special interests.

According to State Senator Strickland how will the Democrats "solve" this problem? "In fact, the Democrats legislation would mean higher water costs and less water. It creates additional hurdles for any new infrastructure being planned to convey more badly-needed water throughout the state. It adds more layers of bureaucracy and imposes more environmental restrictions. It exacerbates the imbalance between the needs of fish and those of humans."

Democrats prefer fish to people. Pass this article on to your friends--let them know who is to blame for the water crisis--Democrats and judges. Isn't it time for a voter revolt to take back our water, our streets, our schools and our government?

For jobs and water to be a priority, CITIZENS must be THE priority, and for THIS to happen, ILLEGALS must be DEPORTED!
