if you traveled to a store in Utah, you would expect top pay Utah sales taxes. No problem.
How about if you saved gas, did not harm the environment, just annoyed a few electrons and bought the same items in Utah, via the Internet. Should the State of California collect sales taxes? The Democrats want that.
Their next step is even more silly and dangerous. What if a computer is manufactured in California and shipped to a store in Utah. Then it is sold to a resident of Utah--why shouldn't California collect sales taxes from the Utah resident for the purchase of the computer.
Democrats look for excuses to make people poorer and to cover their deficits caused by paying off the unions and their other special interests.
The Internet is NOT a store. It is NOT a place of business. The Internet is cyberspace, where people can conduct business--having NOTHING to do with government.
This is just another excuse by Democrats to meltdown the State of California.
