As usual, the LA Times promotes higher taxes and bad policies.
If the Times columnist George Skelton had his way, taxes and budgets would be approved by a majority vote.
He is looking for any excuse to raise taxes and raise government control of the economy.
Note that not once does he suggest getting rid of the special interests (unions) from controlling government, or cuts in the budget, better schools through parental choice or ending the union monopoly on construction projects.
Skelton loves government. The bigger the better. Looks like it is a race between the State and the Times to see who goes bankrupt first.
