Until 1966 California had a part time legislature.
This is a movement that is growing. Would not be surprised if the Democrats pick up on this as well. This is a winner at the ballot box.
More importantly, a part time legislature, along with a two year budget, is the reform we need to start the process of returning from bankruptcy.
