San Fran Supervisors are trying to make official the program of Mayor Newsom: to shelter criminal illegal aliens from the Feds! "In practice, the city's schools and public health system don't ask applicants for legal papers. City Hall issues identity cards to help residents, legal or not, open a bank account or identify themselves to police. Voters side with the humane notion of protecting undocumented residents from a broken immigration system."
What are they doing? "A veto-proof majority of the Board of Supervisors is lining up behind a change that initially sounds fair and supportable: Undocumented youths, who are charged with felonies, shouldn't be turned over to federal authorities for possible deportation until their cases are settled locally."
To me, this makes those voting for this plan criminals themselves and should be arrested on Federal charges of protecting criminal activity.
