The bill was very simple. If you received Workers Comp support, you would get a letter that asked if you actually received these services. This is one step to prevent workers Comp fraud.
In the gap stepped Democrat Rod Wright, and he stripped the bill of this provision. What he was saying is simple--"I do not care of there is fraud in the system, these are my people and let them commit fraud"
The good news is that companies can send these letters without permission of government. Large companies like Disney are going to send the letter anyway.
