What a great surprise! I have been asked by Rick Amato to guest host his radio show tonight, Monday August 17. It is on 1170 KCBQ, http://kcbq.townhall.com/
I have lined up some super guests for tonight.
John Marielius, the long time political writer for the San Diego Union Tribune. We will discuss the state of the State finances and how they will affect our communities in 2010.
Then we will have my favorite State Senator, George Runner, who will discuss the affects of having 40,000 prisoners be given earlier release by judges with bodyguards.
At the 10:00 pm hour we will have a discussion about energy, Ethanol and the future of energy supplies in California. David Baskett, a leader in the American Ethanol Institute will tell us the sad story about energy.
As the dessert, we will hear from Tom Del Beccaro, the Vice Chair of the California Republican Party, to discuss how the fiscal meltdown will affect California politics in 2010.
At the start of the program you might want to have a tape recorder ready. I will be giving the sad news about the finances of California, starting with the $16.5 billion cash deficit we have TODAY. If you have Prozac or Valium, you will need it.
Go to the URL above and you will be able to listen to the show, anywhere, really, anywhere the Internet exists.
Also, your should go to the Rick Amato show web site, http://www.amatotalk.com/ and sign up for his newsletter-a great source for news and opinion!
Click on "read more" to get an idea how fiscally and socially responsible Rick Amato is as a leader!
