Gay Establishment Says NO to Repeal of Prop. 8

Just like every other community, the gay and lesbian community has an establishment. They are the penthouse crowd, telling those on the street how to do their job and when they are allowed to breathe.

In this case, the establishment gay community wants to wait till 2012 before they go after a third bite at the apple. The good news for democracy is that the "street gays" are not listening. The repeal of Prop. 8 will be on the ballot in 2010.

Let the wine and brie gay establishment whine about this, but those who really care about this issue will push forward. Good for them. Oh, note this editorial in the SF Chronicle, they are supporting the establishment. Any wonder the Chron is going under?

Sounds like a bit of a disagreement there. Well, I don't have a problem with gays at all, but when the people have let their voice be heard it should count for something.
