Why is LAUSD the most incompetent district in the State? "For example, the data helped school officials discover 16,000 students counted twice and about 20,000 students who had been inaccurately counted as dropouts, district officials said."
They double counted 16,000 students? They had no idea about 20,000 other students.
What does it take to know this is about money--the district got State funds for the 16,000 DOUBLE counted student--that is a rip off.
Note that the finances are not discussed.
Time to get honest, capable people into LAUSD and get rid of those who can't count--or at least send them to remedial math.
