Can we find an honest Democrat? Now we have to add Democrat Senator Chris Dodd to the "Culture of Corruption" list--he lied about getting special rates for a home loan. As did Democrat Senator Kent Conrad, he lied also. Then you have the Clinton Housing Secretary Cisneros--and he lied about the favorable loans.
Do not want to leaves out Johnson and Raines, the men who ransacked Fannie and Freddie--they also got great loan rates--and were advisors to Barack the Honest. Then you have "Minyon Moore, former Chief Operating Officer of the Democratic National Committee, and President Clintons Director of White House Political Affairs " and Joyce Brayboy, the Chief of Staff for Rep. Melvin Watt was funneled into Countrywides VIP program.
Yes, two Republicans got caught, one a staffer and one the Bush Housing Secretary AND his daughter.
In the main, this was a sweetheart deal for Democrats--and this is the tip of the iceberg--wonder why perky Katie, Brian, Gibson or Wolf never mention the massive Democrats corruption connected with Countrywide--which appears to have one a big, corrupt organization.
Shame on us for not demanding that Dodd and Conrad leave the Senate. Shame on us for allowing this. The corruption is because we do not care enough.
Time for a voter revolt.
