The Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board is absolutely corrupt--top to bottom.
Folks who are unemployed are supposed to receive unemployment checks--but it is the UNIONS that stop that from happening.
The Democrats said the reason 82,000 appeals are waiting for their checks are because of government cut backs. Now we know that the real reason is unions rules--the same unions that own the Democrat Party.
"The governor attacked the six-member board, which includes four of his own appointees, for allowing some judges to work at home. He also denounced the board for signing off on a labor agreement that caps the number of appeals cases that an administrative law judge can hear each week.
"It's outrageous that at a time when the people of California are most in need of their services, these judges are hiding behind a provision in a union contract to avoid work," the governor said in a statement issued by his office."
In other words the union has an agreement that only a certain number of cases can be handled per administrative judge. I thought the judges were not working hard enough. In fact, they are working toward a union contract.
Do you need more evidence that unions hurt people, directly? Do you need more evidence that unions hurt the economy and the workers who pay bribes to them?
Shame on us for allowing this.
The Governor needs to declare the union contract null and void and do his job.
