The Luddites have won again, killing an industry, jobs and revenues. "The North State leader says the passage of SB 670 will place an outright ban on the practice of Suction Dredge Mining in all California rivers, streams and other tributaries, even though there is no scientific evidence or proof that the mining practice is harmful to the environment."
At a minimum this bill will close 325 businesses, directly, then you have their vendors. In this area of the State, junk science used by city folks, will be a disaster for thousands.
This is just another reason the California economy will not recover from the government created recession. Government policies like SB 670, AB 32 and others assure employees few jobs.
Thanks to Sacramento, if you want a job, you have to move to another State.
Shame on us for allowing this. Get angry or get poor.
