Everyone in government gets the furlough axe. Everyone has a "good" excuse not to be furloughed. Maybe if pay rates and benefits were responsible, it would not come to this.
The claim that by not being furloughed means hundreds of millions more in the treasury sounds good to me--except for the fact that many time the money is collected as blackmail--either give us the money now, or our self serving system will collect more by adding penalties and interest---they emotionally force people to pay taxes not owed.
They claim the furlough have cost $177 million not collected--another phony number created by an agency trying to prove its worth.
