San Diego appointed Sheriff, Bill Gore (the man who would not answer questions from the US Senate about the murder of a woman at Ruby Ridge--"I told my superiors, you don't count") has decided that illegal aliens are a lot like fish. "Newly appointed San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore says he will continue a long-standing department policy that allows his deputies to detain a suspected illegal immigrant for up to an hour while they wait for the Border Patrol."
In fishing terms that is called "catch and release". Except these "fish" kill, steal, ruin economies, cause higher deficits and taxes. These are poisoned fish. Too bad the Sheriff of San Diego makes his own laws and rules. He is trying too hard to become the ACLU "Law Enforcement Friend of the Criminal of the Year".
Who does he answer to? Why did the Board of Supervisors appoint a Sheriff that tips the scales of Justice toward the criminal?
