The Democrat head of a community college district is openly corrupt: "The news group reported July 12 that district Chancellor Elihu Harris helped steer a no-bid contract to one of his business partners without informing trustees of the conflict of interest; that Harris raised the salaries of managers without trustee approval; and that he and trustees routinely violated district travel policies."
Now he is being investigated--about time--he was an open secret. Everybody knew, but it took a series of newspaper articles for those responsible to act. Maybe if the media did more of this instead of hiding corruption, demanding more taxes and bad policies, we would not be in such a mess?
