  • Government Creates Landfill Hazardous Waste Danger

Government is going to force you to put toxic waste in your children's bedroom. When that light bulb breaks you can not clean it up--need to call HazMat--estimated cost of cleaning up a broken bulb? $2,000.

Saving the planet to some means poisoning of all.

Then if disposed of "properly, they will poison our ground water. ""The problem to the environment comes when millions get disposed of and the cumulative effect becomes problematic. That is when the [Environmental Protection Agency] gets concerned," said Neal Langerman, a former chairman of the American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Health and Safety. "If you have a municipal urban landfill and have a population of 450,000 households disposing of one or two CFLs a year - you do the arithmetic. Put one-half milligram of mercury per bulb, it amounts to a significant loading, and mercury does migrate into groundwater."

If a private business did this the Times (any variety) would scream, Nader would put out a press release and Jerry Brown would sue.

But, this is being forced by government.

Does anybody understand this is a sick joke? Harm the children, poison our water, and claim you are saving our planet. This is why government can not be trusted. The special interests are more important than science and common sense.

Get angry or get poor. Time for a voter revolt.
