Were it not for technical changes in the counting of tests students in Chicago take, they would still be called failures. Now they are failures, but with phony scores given them by "adults".
"When he named Duncan for the position, Obama boasted of the improvement he had brought about in Chicago’s scores on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT), from 38 percent of students meeting the standards to 67 percent. But the new report, issued by the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, offers convincing evidence that these gains are almost entirely the result of technical adjustments in 2006 to that particular test."
Remember, BO does not allow HIS children to attend government schools--they go to a private school. At the same time Obama is taking away scholarships for black kids to attend good private schools instead of the failure factories of Washington.
Why does he hate black children so much that he is forcing them back into failed schools?
Why does he dislike American education, his appointment of a failed Superintendent, that could only "succeed" by changing the scoring of tests, shows that he cares about the special interests and unions, not the students.
