Statewide campaigns are based on themes--overall and week by week. How serious a candidate is, how they relate to the public is shown in the weekly themes.
The Whitman for Governor campaign theme this week is "I got plenty of money, vote for me". She gave herself $15 million even though the money is not currently needed. She did want to remind people she is rich.
Steve Poizner had a press conference in the Central Valley, announced a water policy and challenged Democrat Nancy Pelosi to cut the garbage and return the water taken by the Feds to the farmers of the Central Valley. His theme this week appears to be "Return the water to the Central Valley".
At the end of the day, both campaigns will be fully funded. At the end of the day will the Central Valley get its water back?
One candidate flashes money, the other has money but discusses policies that matter.
That is why I am proudly working professionally for Steve Poizner, he knows families are looking for leadership,
Click on "read more" to see the petition to be sent to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, demanding water be released to the farmers and people of the Central Valley.
Get involved the cost of you next meal depends on the water. If Pelosi has here way, the Central Valley will become the Oklahoma Dust Bowl of the 1930's.
Back the Poizner call for the release of water. Pass this on to your friends. This is not about a campaign, it is about economic survival of California.
