Redevelopment Agencies are thieves. Here is another example.
"On Tuesday, February 22 at 9:00 AM, Glendale’s Redevelopment Agency (GRA) will hold a “Kangaroo Court” hearing to reject small businessman Ray Patel’s Redevelopment Proposal for his own property and pave the way for a Kelo Condemnation of Patel’s Property and business on behalf of billionaire Rick Caruso. In one quick swoop, the City of Glendale showed all of California why Redevelopment must be abolished and pretty much torpedoed any chances of billionaire Rick Caruso buying his way into Los Angeles City Hall as LA’s next Mayor. In fact after the stunt he pulled in Glendale, Caruso will find out like his Republican colleague Meg Whitman, that no amount of money will help pave his way into any elected office in California."
This sounds more like Russia, China or Cuba, not Glendale. Obama stole General Motors from the shareholders and bond holders. While BO is president, no American is safe from government take over. Just a few days ago, Obama by "mistake" took over and closed down 84,000 web sites.
We should be embarrassed by the theft of private property by government. This is another reason that RDA's need to be closed, they are openly corrupt. And Obama needs to be defeated in 2012.
