At first I thought Arnold was reading a Saturday Night Live script. Then I realized he was serious.
He is upset that he spent a lot of time away from his family while being Governor. What did he expect, to call it in (which would have been better for the people of California)
Then he claims he "lost" $200 million. As governor he could not be an active investor nor could he take roles in movies. Arnold lost seven years in his quest for an Oscar.
What did we lose because Arnold was Guv?
1. Unemployment doubled
2. $35 billion in new debt
3. tens of billions of bonded debt
4. AB 32 killing jobs
5. Highest taxes
I could go on, but you get the point. We lost more than he did. And it is true, the difference between California voters and passengers on the Titanic is that the Titanic passengers did not vote to hit the iceberg. We voted for Arnold and got his legacy of destruction and fiscal disaster.
