  • Caldwell: The end of the world, as we know it

Is it possible as my good friend Andy Caldwell writes, that the world will lack freedom by the years 2021--ten years from now?

"By the year 2021, China will be the world’s only superpower, prevented from achieving complete global dominance only by Islam.

Europe, via immigration and immigrant birth rates, will have made the transition to a culture and legal system dominated by Islam, and that, coupled with the sheer number of Muslims throughout the world, will hold China at bay.

Russia, by then, will have succumbed to a de facto dictatorship. Coupled with that nation’s birth dearth, the former superpower will be a marginal player in the international arena."

Certainly the US can not be a super power, we won't be able to afford slingshots for our by then meager military, cut back by Obama. We can't be the financial leader, since we will have been bankrupted for several years, with the Chinese owning the US Treasury. How can we be a world power when in ten years our health care system will be demolished and Washington will be asking the Cubans for help?

We are on a 45 degree slide to oblivion. America is in trouble.
