Pasadena has a deficit of $5.6 million--to cover it fired $2.18 million worth of employees. Who are they kidding? And, it looks like they fired workers who were not paying bribes for jobs--keeping those owned by unions not the city.
Corruption and incompetence are the signs of government. If they fired another 36 employees no one would notice and the budget would be balanced. Politics above prudence is the new slogan of the City of Pasadena--everything is NOT coming up roses in this city.
