Many cities are on the verge of bankruptcy--many are already there but will not admit it. Chowchilla still refuses to admit it is bankrupt.
But, it has DEFAULTED on its bonds. "Chowchilla, Calif. has failed to make its January payment on a bond issued to make expensive renovations to its city hall."
Instead of spending the money for essential city services, it improved the City Hall.
Government is incompetent and corrupt. Chowchilla deserves the default for wasting tax dollars. Who will bail it out?
