  • Prop. 14 Forces Senate Candidate to Lie on Ballot

Prop. 14 is about to force a decent person to lie to the public.

“Unless the state’s High Court intervenes, Mr. Chamness will be banned from identifying himself as a “Coffee Party” candidate on the ballot. Instead, he will be forced to falsely state that he has “No Party Preference.”” As quoted by The Daily Breeze, Chamness appears to have decided to run for the seat at least partially in protest of Proposition 14, which he said “disenfranchises third-party candidates.”

Worse it guarantees that NO third party candidate will EVER get on a general election ballot--and certainly no special election runoff.

Free speech, political freedom, gone in the State of California. We voted for this. We were fooled. Hopefully a Court will determine that corruption mandated by Prop. 14 is unconstitutional. How corrupt are California elections today? In Oakland the person got the most votes for Mayor LOST--the second place person was given the oath of office.

Why do people refuse to vote? Because, as in Oakland and with Prop.14, their vote no longer counts.
