Next Monday Jerry Brown is going to "scare" the public with a responsible budget--it will cut everything. The Democrats will run around loose screaming the schools will close, no cops, no firefighters, no libraries.
Actually, this is a re-run of June, 1978 when Prop. 13 passed--guess what, we are still here.
And Jerry Brown is the same Governor a generation later.
He will cry that government will be shut down--just as he did in May of 1978. It did not happen then, it will not happen now.
The difference—in 1978 the elderly would lose their homes if Prop. 13 did not pass.
In 2011 we have 12.4% unemployment, AB 32 is killing more jobs, we have high taxes and massive ($165 billion in seven years) deficits.
The special election is to determine if government survives, or the people—guess how the vote will go?
