Years of being deprived of needed water is killing the Central Valley. Add high taxes and the costs of implementing AB 32, it is no wonder that Fresno is in the running for the "hungriest town" in the nation.
Government is incompetent and corrupt--this is what happens when you add radical ideology.
"For December 2010, the index dipped to 47.3 from November’s 53.3. An index greater than 50 indicates an expansionary economy over the course of the next three to six months.
“The overall index has been trending downward since inception of the survey,” says Mr. Goss. “Given the lack of historical data, we cannot determine the degree to which seasonal factors are weighing on the index. However even with this caveat, I expect economic growth to be somewhat muted for the first half of 2011 for the region.”
