  • Arnold Failed To Sell LA Coliseum to USC

USC has been willing to take this boondoggle off the hands of the State of California. Arnold, has refused to sell, even those he can't use it--and he has created more than $165 billion in deficits while governor (good thing he did not have the full eight years--it would be even worse).

"The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and several surrounding parking lots aren't going to be swiftly sold off to the University of Southern California, as the school's interest in buying the property got a yellow light of sorts from The Board of Directors for Exposition Park and the California Science Center, who yesterday opted to "continue studying" the offer, according to the Daily News.

California is eager to sell the stadium to help bring in some much-needed bucks, and USC is keen on going through with the purchase to not only have more control of the venue, but to use the lots "to help alleviate daytime parking shortages."

There is absolutely no governance purpose for the State to own a stadium and parking lots. None.

This is why government has too much money--it owns parking lots, while unions own government.

We do not need "reform". We need a revolution.
