Non-union advocates closely watching Sacramento wastewater project
"Many watched the $2 billion flap over a new wastewater permit for Sacramento that could cause fees to soar, but the issue is also being eyed by advocates for non-union contractors who fight project labor agreements.
Those are the agreements that spell out wages, health care benefits and other requirements to ensure union-only labor is on the job in exchange for promises not to strike against projects."
The unions extort government--give us a monopoly or you will be shut down.
This is corruption, approved by government. In the real world, union leaders would go to jail. In the world of government, they own those who make these decisions.
Why is California in a Depression? Unions, illegal aliens and AB 32--end the union monopolies, enforce our immigration laws, and only use real science, not Gore approved science and California can become the Golden State again. Otherwise, we continue to be a Third World State.
