1.Planned Parenthood Chapter Quits, Forced by National to Do Abortions, by Steven Ertelt, LifeNews.com, 12/21/10
We all know the purpose of Planned Parenthood is NOT the health of women, it is the death of babies. Even when a chapter REFUSES to kill babies, that just means the National organization gets upset.
"A Texas-based Planned Parenthood affiliate has resigned as a member of the national organization because Planned Parenthood Federation of America wanted it to do abortions.
Local officials say PPFA is instituting a mandate that all of its affiliates across the nation offer facilities where abortions are done and the head of Planned Parenthood of South Texas says her group doesn’t want to add abortions.
CEO Amanda Stukenberg told the Corpus Christi Caller newspaper that PPST doesn’t need to do abortions because independent abortion business already exist in the area, so her group has focused solely on promoting contraception and birth control.
“We have never provided abortions,” she said. “Our position is that if that is a need in your community, fine. There are far greater needs in our area than abortion. We feel that women here have options. We don’t need to duplicate services.”
This Planned Parenthood chapter has the right attitude--"no need to kill a baby twice". Why do we allow this in our community?
2. Too Bad for Liberals: Unemployment, Gun Ownership Up, Crime Down, Capitol Commentary, 12/22/10
They just do not get it. Even with the reduction of cops on the street, crime is down. maybe the large number of guns in private hands, especially those bought since Obama became President, is a cause--after all no criminal wants to be shot by a victim. The Obamaites have said that the unemployment are vicious and ruthless, willing to steal--that too is a big fat lie of the Left.
"It must always be a sad day for Liberals when they cannot use an excuse to pass more laws in response to some societal “problem.” As we wrote here a year ago in an article titled “Another Puzzle for Libs: More Guns, Fewer Murders and Lower Crime,” the FBI has confirmed that, for over 3 years in a row, crime and murder is down across the board even as anti-2nd Amendment laws have fallen across the country."

Without a single vote of Congress Obama has taken over the Internet and nationalized it. Now content and web sites will be allowed only if the Feds approve--this is happening within days of Hugo Chavez doing the same thing in Venezuela. Just proves both are dictators and socialists.

As it is with the government health care takeover, so it is with the newly approved government plan to "increase" Internet "access." Call it Webcare.
By a vote of 3-2, the Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday adopted a controversial scheme to ensure "net neutrality" by turning unaccountable Democratic appointees into meddling online traffic cops. The panel will devise convoluted rules governing Internet service providers, bandwidth use, content, prices and even disclosure details on Internet speeds. The "neutrality" is brazenly undermined by preferential treatment toward wireless broadband networks. Moreover, the FCC's scheme is widely opposed by Congress -- and has already been rejected once in the courts. Demonized industry critics have warned that the regulations will stifle innovation and result in less access, not more."

I am shocked. High taxes cause economic disaster for States. NO income taxes allow a State to grow. Any wonder California, Illinois, New York and Michigan are in Depressions?
"This leads to a second point, which is that growth tends to be stronger where taxes are lower. Seven of the nine states that do not levy an income tax grew faster than the national average. The other two, South Dakota and New Hampshire, had the fastest growth in their regions, the Midwest and New England.
Altogether, 35 percent of the nation's total population growth occurred in these nine non-taxing states, which accounted for just 19 percent of total population at the beginning of the decade."

The climate narrative, however, is hardly stagnant. Consider the claims by some of the leading mainstream media outlets beginning in years prior to the EPA to present-day accounts.
In 1954 the cover of Fortune magazine read “Climate—the Heat May be Off!” In 1969 the New York Times claimed that “the Arctic sea pack ice is thinning and that the ocean and the North Pole may become an open sea within a decade or two.“ In 1974 the Washington Post advised, “get a good grip on your long johns, cold weather haters—the worst may be yet to come. . . there’s no relief in sight.”
Fast forward six years and the New York Times was warning of “global warming of an almost unprecedented magnitude.” By 2001, Time magazine stated that “Scientists no longer doubt that global warming is happening” and just recently the Museum of London launched a climate change exhibit to show what London will look like after a global warming disaster."
Now those suffering from AGS (Al Gore Syndrome) believed heat and cold, snow and drought, the common cold, caner and good health, are all caused by Global Warming. My personal belief is that the worst show ever on TV, Seinfeld, was caused by writers who berated Global Warming everyday. How else do you explain how bad this show was?
