Government is always acts with the concept of a slippery slope. Just a foot in the door, then all of a sudden the Government has a gun to your head and a sexual deviant (a government employee) has their hand down you pants acting like a two bit whore.
Now the Government deviants will "start" with random searches of bags and back packs. This will assure tens of thousands of people to miss their trains and buses. That will make them happy--this will cause those that can to go back to using their cars instead of money losing, sex crazy, government transportation systems.
At what point, a month, three months or a year when the government sets up metal detectors, like airports, to go through? Then it is a short hop to giving sexual deviants a full employment act, working for TSA, and governments giving them permission to put their hand down you pants and make sure your private parts are not hiding bombs.

Metro officials would not specify when the first searches will begin, how long they will last, which locations will be targeted or how many riders' bags will be searched. The agency planned to start alerting riders with pamphlets and station announcements on Thursday afternoon."
Actually, in New York, D.C. and a couple of other cities this is great news for cab drivers! Why do we put up with a totalitarian government that acts like all citizens should be victims of sexual predators working in the name of "safety". Under this plan, all Americans are victims of terrorism--the terrorism run by our own government.
