The politicians of Los Angeles think blacks, Hispanics, Asians and other are too stupid to know what to eat.
"The City Council voted unanimously Wednesday to address the over-concentration of fast-food restaurants in South Los Angeles by banning new establishments from opening within a half-mile radius of existing eateries.
The newly approved ordinance will alter the neighborhood design guidelines for the area — defined specifically as West Adams, Baldwin Hills, Leimert, South Los Angeles and Southeast Los Angeles — upon being signed by the mayor.
The approval of the ordinance comes in the wake of the September expiration of a two-year moratorium on the opening of new fast-food establishments in the same area."
Of course there are already fast food places in south Central LA. They are now assured of no new competition. This moratorium is expected to bring fancy, expensive eateries to the neighborhood, places like Souplantation, etc. If there was a market for these places in South Central, they would already be there.
Totalitarian states limit choices. So, does totalitarian, bigoted, Los Angeles. This silly rule will hold down employment opportunities, not change the mix of food eaten by honest citizens. When will the people revolt against the dictators in office?
