Newspapers are quickly losing readers and revenues.
Now major papers like the LA Daily News and Long Beach Press Telegram are giving (forcing) their employees to take off for two weeks--a pay cut of just under 4%--plus fewer vacation days.
The dead tree industry by NOT reporting on the growing corruption of government is making itself less relevant. Blogs and web sites have more important information than a councilman member holding a BBQ for fire fighters. Until they report all of the news, instead of protecting government, unions, illegal aliens and big corporations, why spend money on a newspaper?
