My belief is that this is only the start. Union bribe payers will be forced to pay more for pensions and health care. They will be forced to give back pay raises--and still they will be fired.
Government, at all levels have run out of money and have little ability to get any more. A few weeks ago the State of California tried to borrow $10 billion, through bonds--they could only sell $6 billion.
The time has come for elected officials and agencies to get a backbone--or the 2010 will look like a minor defeat for the unions in 2012.
