PLEASE PASS THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS--LET THEM KNOW MORE ABOUT POLITICS AND PUBLIC POLICY THE FORMER MAINSTREAM MEDIA WON'T TELL. THANKS

    1. For tottering states, bankruptcy could be the answer, By: Michael Barone, Washington Examiner, 11/28/10

Thanks to Democrats running New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Arnold running California (a registered Republican who loves Democrat tax increases), these States have massive deficits and pension plans that are collapsing.

"California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger came to Washington earlier this year to get $7 billion for his state government, which resorted to paying off vendors with scrip and delaying state income tax refunds. Illinois seems to be in even worse shape. A recent credit rating showed it to be weaker than Iceland and only slightly stronger than Iraq.

It's no mystery why these state governments -- and those of New York and New Jersey as well -- are in such bad fiscal shape. These are the parts of America where the public employee unions have been calling the shots, insisting on expanded payrolls, ever higher pay, hugely generous fringe benefits and utterly unsustainable pension promises.

The prospect is that the bond market will quit financing California and Illinois long before the federal government. It may already be happening. Earlier this month, California could sell only $6 billion of $10 billion revenue anticipation notes it put on the market."

    2. Texas dominates economic recovery rankings, By DAVID HENDRICKS, HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 11/30/10

Would you prefer tax cutting, business building Texas Governor Rick Perry as the California Guv? Or would you prefer the tax increasing, job killing AB 32 sponsor Arnold as your Guv? For 2/3 of Californians, per the exit polls of November 2, we do not approve of Arnold.

"Four Texas metropolitan areas — Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston — dominate the top 15 U.S. cities in a global study to determine the level of cities' recovery from the recession.
The Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program report ranks 150 cities: 50 in the United States, 50 in Europe and 50 in the rest of the world. Austin was the highest-ranked U.S. city and No. 26 in the world. Dallas ranks as the No. 4 U.S. city and No. 39 in the world.
San Antonio ranks No. 11 in the U.S. and No. 51 in the world.
Houston is ranked No. 15 in the U.S. and No. 61 in the world, according to the report, Global MetroMonitor, which received assistance from the London School of Economics and Political Science."
    3. WikiLeaks next target could be Bank of America: report, NY POST, 11/30/10

Looks like the Leaks have opened a hornets nest. Plus, we now know that General Electric, using NBC, has been promoting Obama massive deficits because it was getting billions in "bailout" money from Obama. This is corruption--General Electric should not sell NBC--it should taken away from them as a penalty for the Quisling operation in conjunction with the White House.
"In an October 2009 interview with tech news website Computerworld, Assange said the organization obtained large amounts of data from the hard drive of a Bank of America executive, The New York Times noted.
“At the moment, for example, we are sitting on 5GB from Bank of America, one of the executive’s hard drives,” he told Computerworld. “Now how do we present that? It’s a difficult problem. We could just dump it all into one giant Zip file, but we know for a fact that has limited impact. To have impact, it needs to be easy for people to dive in and search it and get something out of it.”
In a statement to The New York Times, Scott Silvestri, a Bank of America spokesman, said: “More than a year ago Wikileaks claimed to have the computer hard drive of a Bank of America executive. Aside from the claims themselves we have no evidence that supports this assertion. We are unaware of any new claims by Wikileaks that pertain specifically to Bank of America.”
We may not like Wikileaks--but they, unlike our government, has been truthful...so I believe that bank of America is the next target, and that can not be good for them.

    4. Estimating the Impact of the DREAM Act, By Steven A. Camarota, Center for Immigration Studies, 11/2010

Illegal Aliens cost Americans $113 billion, at a minimum each year. By not enforcing our immigration laws, we are telling young people that our laws are a farce. Why obey any law if government allows 13or more million to ignore it?
    • "Assuming no fraud, we conservatively estimate that 1.03 million illegal immigrants will eventually enroll in public institutions (state universities or community colleges) as a result of the DREAM Act. That is, they meet the residence and age requirements of the act, have graduated high school, or will do so, and will come forward.
    • On average, each illegal immigrant who attends a public institution will receive a tuition subsidy from taxpayers of nearly $6,000 for each year he or she attends, for total cost of $6.2 billion a year, not including other forms of financial assistance they may also receive."
    5. Death Panels? NYC Will Send Ambulances to Save Organs of People Deemed Likely to Die, Susan Jones, CNSNEWS.com,12/01/10

New York REALLY loves the Obama death panels. "Some 911 Calls in Manhattan will bring out two ambulances, one hurrying to the scene in an attempt to save the patient's life, and the other arriving to save the patient's organs in case the person dies, the New York Times reported on Wednesday."

They think people can be declared "rationed" to death by an EMT on the spot, and given up for organ donations--for the elitists. Obviously, you need to stay away from New York if you want to live.
