It has been established that the cost of a sailboat race for rich, old white men will cost $127 million to run. San Fran is now looking at a way to "save" $95 million--by spending $95 million--I know, this makes no sense--but this is San Fran a city where you can get high by just breathing the air.
San Fran has a deficit of approximately $483 million--so where is this money coming from? Maybe fewer cops, less library hours or closing a few parks?
If these guys want to race their boats, let them--but they have to pay the cost, not those losing their homes and jobs.
