Deputies seek suspect in south Sacramento shooting

Sacramento County Sheriff's Department deputies are searching for a suspect in a Monday night shooting in south Sacramento, sheriff's officials said.
The shooting took place at about 8:45 p.m. near 45th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, sheriff's officials said. One victim was taken to UC Davis Medical Center. His condition was unknown, officials said.
Sheriff's officials know the identity of the shooter and are looking for him, according to the sheriff's department. Return to www.sacbee.com for updates.
