Marie Claire Profiles Women Considering Abortion Because Of Fetal Abnormalities

In its September issue, Marie Claire features profiles of two pregnant women who were faced with the decision of whether to have abortions in the second trimester after their fetuses were diagnosed with fatal conditions. One woman's fetus was diagnosed at 18 weeks' gestation with trisomy 13, or Patau syndrome, a genetic disorder involving multiple fatal abnormalities.
