hello,
so i have just got a phone call from the state of california.
I have been on food stamps for the last year.the first 6months i was on it,i did not go to school.then in aug i started school,i told my worker and they still approved me for the next six months.
now it comes to the end of this and year and now i getting a call from the manager of food stamps who tell me that since im going to collage i will have to pay back the whole years worth of food stamps.
Im very upset about this since,i thought it was out of my hands, after i gave my paper work to the social worker.she approved me after i told her about me going to school and she told me that it would be fine and that i may get a little less them before.i was fine with that since i do not have a job and im trying to better my self by going to school.but the state feels that i should pop out a kid or to if i want help from them.
im so lost for words right now..i do now know what to do.i found this site.im hoping some one could show me a way to fight them.
since i did not approved my self they did.
so if you know of anything i can do please let me know.
