Natural Disaster/State of Emergency: Procedures and Guidelines

The Secretary of State is required to consult with county elections officials to develop procedures and guidelines to do everything possible to ensure California’s registered voters can cast ballots on Election Day in the event of a natural disaster or other state of emergency. These procedures and guidelines will be published on the Secretary of State’s website by January 1, 2015.</img> </img> </img>
