This is just plain horrible. What is it going to take to bring our military to our border and not a foreign countries border. How many more attacks until something, anything is done? The violence is spilling over like a flood, yet still just a whisper from most of our politicians.

As soon as anyone knows his or her name, please post it here. I plan to take the mobile billboard out with the agents name and fly the BP flag at half mast

Border agent attacker may be wounded, officials say
            4:19 PM | July 24, 2009

One of the gunmen involved in the fatal shooting of a U.S. Border Patrol agent was wounded, possibly by gunshot, and may be seeking medical help, FBI investigators said today.

Hospitals and clinics on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border near San Diego County have been notified.
U.S. and Mexican authorities continued their hunt for the attackers today as the FBI announced a $100,000 reward for help in finding the gunmen who shot and killed agent Robert Wilmer Rosas Jr., 30.
More than one person was probably involved in the Thursday night shooting as Rosas patrolled the remote area near Campo for smugglers.
Investigators said during a news conference today in Chula Vista that Rosas was outside of his vehicle when he was killed within "close proximity" to the border fence.

The three-year veteran of the Border Patrol was married and had an 11-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son, according to the law enforcement website Officer Down Memorial Page.
Earlier today, investigators said there were signs of a struggle and some of Rosas' gear was stolen.
It was the first shooting death of a Border Patrol agent in about a decade.

"I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of one of our own," U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano said in a statement. "Agent Robert Rosas was gunned down while protecting our nation's Southwest border.
"This act of violence will not stand — nor will any act of violence against the Border Patrol."
She said the department's full resources would be used in the investigation.
