Driver Transporting Illegal Immigrants Arrested for Hit and Run

The driver of a van carrying illegal immigrants has been arrested for suspicion of hit and run after his van hit and killed a motorcyclist in Sacramento Monday night.

The van was carrying nine undocumented workers and made either a left turn or an illegal U-turn at Greenback Lane and Garfield Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. The van struck 28-year-old Cameron Brown of Rio Linda. He was taken to Mercy San Juan Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The workers in the van were taken into custody and will be turned over to immigration authorities. The van's driver fled the scene and was later arrested at a nearby golf course.

Police say Audencio Vasquez-Galvez will likely face felony hit and run and manslaughter charges as well as charges for driving without a license.

He was from mexico. A Mixteca, but Mexican. I recently found another old case of illegal alien vs Sacramento citizen, but when I tried to upload the document the forum database regurgitated it.
It was about a latin american illegal who had obtained a drivers license from oregon, and despite nine previous sexual convictions, was hired by comcast. During an installation, he sexually assaulted a teen girl who was developmentally disabled.
