CRP On January 31, 2007 CRP closed escrow on property on the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd, and 41st Avenue, the site of the future 41st Avenue Community Center. Abandoned, vandalized, and damaged by fire, the house, which sits on approximately a quarter acre of land, formerly belonged to Meals a la Car, a now defunct non-profit corporation. With help and support from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the Franklin Blvd. Business Association, and the former CEO of Meals a la Car, Mr. Bill Roseberry, CRP was able to acquire the property and plans to transform it into a community center for the neighborhood.
