The new year brought a new command to Iraq as Multinational Forces Iraq cased its colors, replaced by U.S. Forces Iraq during a ceremony at the al-Faw Palace in Baghdad.
Our Soldiers are skilled, professional warriors who live our Army Values, embody the Warrior Ethos and define the American patriot. I am honored to serve alongside these great heroes.
