Soldier in Iraq gets 4th of July call from Secretary of Defense
Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who was sworn into office Friday, marked the 4th of July holiday by making phone calls to six deployed servicemembers, including an Ohio Army National Guard Soldier in Iraq.
Our Soldiers are skilled, professional warriors who live our Army Values, embody the Warrior Ethos and define the American patriot. I am honored to serve alongside these great heroes.
