Has there been any changes in the economy that have affected your income lately?
If so, has it been for the better or worse?
What type of industry or field do you derive your income from?
I depend on retail, specifically small business. The past several months have proven to be very weak for income, and the very near future does not look promising either. That prediction is based upon the fact that my telephone has been rather quiet, which indicates weakness in the market, and along with that I have been fielding calls from retailers who are going out of business. Many of those have been victims of the chain stores continuing push for market domination, but even some of the chains are posting fairly weak sales volumne right now. My industry has been suffering declines for several years due to the earlier mentioned chain store expansion, so it's pretty hard for me to get a grasp on the economy based on my own experience lately, so does anyone else have a story on this?
